Behind The Beautiful Forevers

Outfit Details:
Cropped Jacket & Cardigan – Forever 21 (old)
Horse Sweater – H&M (super sale $5!)
Pants – Zara (last season)
Boots – Rampage (very old)
Watch – Michael Kors
Bracelet - Juicy Couture

Here I am in one of my favorite places in the East Bay is called Heather Farms, where they have this amazing garden area filled with bed of flowers.  A bunch of weddings happens in this serene vicinity throughout the year, and I don’t blame them.  It is the perfect spot for picture taking.  As you can see the gorgeous cherry blossom behind me is one of the reasons I come here and it has a huge playground for my mini me which she absolutely loves!

As for my very first horse sweater, I found him in the kid’s section of H&M, I knew it was a horse sweater from a glance band grabbed it right away without looking at the size or price, I was in a rush.  When I got home, I looked at my receipt and to my surprise I got this baby for only $5 bucks!  It fit perfectly and became my favorite sweater for the weekend, along with pumpkin colored pants from Zara.  My mini-me asked me why I didn’t get her one.  I would have since I love matching with her, but it was the last one.

I wish the path behind me led to the beautiful forevers!

Happy Hump Day!!

Just thought I’d share a few work outfits I have been wearing to work lately.  Our Monday to Friday work outfits doesn't always have to be all work and no play.  I love wearing colors and patterns to work, but I also try to wear clean and sharp pieces.

I also want to share a few lookbooks I found on different websites. Shopbop has a bunch of them but I really love the Ultimate Closet.  It has just about 10 items that can work be worn in so many ways.  I will need to do spring cleaning in my closet to make my ultimate work wardrobe.  Ann Taylor is another website I go to for work outfit inspirations.

This has been one of my longest post ever hope you enjoyed! Thanks for visiting & for all the sweet comments!

Spring = New Beginnings

“The arrival of baseball, warm temperatures, flowers in bloom and seasonal allergies all signal that spring, the season of renewal and rebirth, is here.”

It might be spring in other places, but you wouldn't know it by walking outside where there are high winds and winter-like temperatures are still around here in San Francisco. Today is actually pretty descent weather.  Although the sun is not shining bright, it’s not too cold or windy, and I managed not to wear a jacket to work!  I just didn’t want to be lugging too many things like a bag lady that I am normally.  Sorry my pics are a little blurry due to the fact that they were taken before the sun was starting to go down. I really need to invest in a DSLR camera soon!!

By the way, the flowers I'm smelling were handpicked by my lovely mini-me.  She said "Here mom, I picked the best ones just for you!" Gotta love that!

Well, off to read some of your blogs! Have a beautiful day lovelies!

.
It’s Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.  Although I spent most of my time hitting the books for my many quizzes that’s due, I managed to enjoy my weekend.

As for my outfit, I just love the colors on this dress and fell in love with the rose print! I wore this tulle skirt from H&M just so I don’t feel so bare under.  Plus, the weather was so bizarre.  It was sunny and windy! Can you tell by my hair being blown everywhere?! Sometimes I wish we had different seasons in SF.  Except I guess that’s what makes San Francisco unique. I used to live in the East Bay where we would get all four seasons which is about an hour away from San Francisco.  During the summer it would get up to 100 degrees! I don't think I would be able to live at any city that's always that hot.

So, is everyone excited for tomorrow? First day of Spring! Can’t wait to see what everyone will be posting!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off the bowlines.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  – Mark Twain

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I can’t believe I found a button-down shirt with cut off shoulders at TJ Maxx this weekend.  I have been browsing online for one, but couldn’t decide which one to get.  So glad I waited because I found this lovely stripe for $16! I also was so delighted to find these wedges at my nearby DSW.  I saw them online and wanted to try them on first to make sure they are comfy, which they were.  Another plus was the fact that they were also extra 40% off!!!  So I bought the other color as well!

I got the lovely polka dot skirt from the lovely Coury (Fancytreehouse).  She is just the sweetest and has the most darling thrifted clothes in her shop!  I bought a few more other items which I can’t wait to post.  Thanks Coury!

Can’t wait for Spring!

Skirt & Necklaces - Forever 21
Pumps - Ralph Lauren
Clutch - Thrifted

HOPE = Have Only Positive Expectations

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here's an outfit which was inspired by Diya In Her Stilletos. I love her style so much and I know a lot of bloggers do too.  She has inspired me with very many outfits and I think she is a very talented and intelligent person. Her signature style to me would be how she loves layering even with her necklaces (which influenced me to do the same). I have been following her for quite some time now and she also inspired me to do my own blog.  So, here is the inspired look (she even helped me with finding a top almost similar to hers!)

Outfit Details:
Denim Cropped Vest & Bracelets – Forever 21
Maxi Dress – Boutique Shop in SF
Striped Sandals – Rocket Dog
Red Purse – Thrifted

Happy Friday Everyone! Here’s an outfit I wore when I was in San Diego last weekend.  The beach there is so awesome! I loved it! Plus, the food well I still like our food places in San Francisco but I love to eat at new places but there’s nothing like home.  The ribs at the famous Kansas City BBQ (where they filmed a scene from Top Gun) was really good, my baby girl was getting her hands dirty and chomping away.  Glad she loves ribs!

Anyway, I couldn’t really wear high heels since we were exploring the city.  By the way, it was her first time riding a plane and boy was she so excited.  We went to Legoland, walked around the beach, and of course tried the rides!  Well thanks for stopping by my blog, off to read yours!

got her this cute maxi dress
@ Kansas City BBQ - Love Top Gun & the ride at Great America is my favorite!
