I have been wanting to wear these thrifty finds of mine, this sweater has been daunting me to wear her, but never got around to it. But I think it went well with this pretty dress I found in between clothes at my thrift shop. Amazed that it fits perfect. I will have to do a post without the sweater soon, this dress is versatile as it can be dressed up or down. I think some really classic pumps or open toe wedges would suit this dress.

On this day, my family and I went to Fairyland which is by the beautiful Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA.  Although it was such a sunny day, there were still breeze that can be a bit chilly at times, so a sweater was a must.  I also wanted to wear a "Mommy approve outfit" haha whatever that means. I took a picture by the building with the red door because I've always wanted to live in one of those apartments that had those emergency ladders, I guess because it always reminded me of one of my old favorite show Friends.

Treehouse Retreat

 

Red tulle dress - Chicwish

After months of planning, I can't believe we were finally here! I saw the ad for Treehouse Point on my Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transportation) train stop. I just thought of childhood movies, and how awesome it would be to just stay in a Treehouse.  Someone also pointed out that it reminded them of The Swiss Robinsons Family movie, which I had to rent and watch..it's a cute movie! When I wore my red tulle dress I felt like a fairy in the Tinkerbell. My mini me was watching the marathon for it on Disney before I left and was inspired to wear this dress. I also used to love fairies and all magical movies like Spiderwick, once you have a child you get relive being a kid, and I just love every moment of it!

This was an aahmazing experience! I would definitely love to go back and try a different treehouse.  There's actually one being made, not while we were staying of course it would just be too loud, but the new one is more luxury.  The moment I woke up, I had to look up the ceiling as there were windows up there also! I was surrounded with nature and love every single moment of fresh air. Just what I needed, away from the routine. But I sure did miss my little mama, who we facetimed every single day of course! Gotta love technology!

If you ever want a couple's retreat/getaway, I suggest going to Seattle's Treehouse Point.  The city itself is beautiful and have so much to offer.

Hello everyone! I have not been blogging for a very looooong time I know. I have missed out on everyone's posts but now catching up.  The weather in San Francisco has been really moody lately.  It would be warm for a few hours, then by the time it hits 5:30 pm *Boom*..it's windy and cold. So the only way to dress is in layers.

I just came back from my amazing Seattle, WA trip a few days ago and will be posting pictures. By the way shout out to my little mama who took these shots! Here she is pretending to be a ballerina...

My awesome friend Cathy took some quick photos while on lunch today.  This is what I wore to work, very casual but with some pumps this outfit can be ready for happy hour! But I wanted to show you all my lovely and dangerous Conceited flats.  I fell in love when I first saw these flats online about two weeks ago.  Since, I have been trying to save money, emphasize TRYING..I wanted to make sure that I really wanted them and waited until yesterday to finally make that purchase! I have been doing this lately because my closet is filled and need to get rid of a bunch of stuff. It can be difficult, but what I've learned and REALLY need to go by, are some of these rules:

1. Would I wear it now?
2. Have I worn in the last 4 months?
3. Do I love it?
4. Do I have anything to wear it with?

If I can't answer to any of these four, then it means it's probably time to let it go, sell or donate it.

 Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Quick outfit post. Just my very simple & comfy weekend outfit, which consists of shorts and tank if weather permits. Otherwise, it would be with jeans! What are yours?

And I finally found a perfect place to hold my daughter's 7th birthday party! Yipppee! Very excited about this one, since I planned it months ahead. I'm going for the Alice in Wonderland theme, and this place has a descent size Rose Garden maze and gazebo.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Borrowed my friend’s camera to take these shots, and really love her T2i Canon.  Still have a lot to learn about these DSLR and which to invest in because I don’t want to have to keep upgrading every two years.  Anyone care to give me their opinion on which DSLR to buy?

It’s only Monday but I can’t wait for the weekend already! Very sad, but true.  Either I need a new job, or its time to just have a part-time.  But for now, just need to push through and pay the bills! Well, here I am with one of my polka dot collection and looking like a biker chic..haha!  I always feel like a bad ass with this jacket on! 

I know mostly everyone knows the song by Carly Rae Jepsen right? Call me, maybe. Well, my daughter loves this song and it gets me every time I hear it.  Crazy to like a little girl music, but what do you know it made on mainstream!

Happy Monday! It's been a while since I last posted, been busy and having camera issues and can't wait to invest in a new one.  The weather has been so weird where I live, one day it's nice and warm, the next foggy.  If I could wake up to a beautiful sun every morning, I would wake up happy! 

Lately I have been driving about 20 minutes away just to get to a place with the weather that I love the most..which is around 70 degrees and nothing more please! I tend to get cranky when it hit's 90 and up! Do any of you feel the same? If not, then I guess I'm a weird one..lol!

These were taken a while back just didn't have time to post.  I have been meaning to wear this very delicate lacey dress last year but never did.  I just felt like it should be worn on certain events because it was so fancy. But one sunny day, decided to pull it out even though I wasn't going to any event. By dressing down with some boots, made it seem okay to wear to this lovely park.  A lot of people seemed pleased to see this dress as I received many compliments! Which was a little shocker since I didn't make any effort, I just wanted to throw something on and be comfy. 

Anyway, how I wish the weather was like this everyday, but that's wishful thinking.  Happy Monday!

Happy Hump Day everyone! I just love this watercolor design by Rory Becca.  Really wanted the jumper but they didn't have any when I went last week.  But I just love her collection at Forever  21.  As for this lovely cape that I thrifted a few months back but never got to take pictures, has finally made it on the blog!
