Spikes, Studs & Lace

Outfit Details:
Dark Denim Top & Lace Skirt - Zara
Stripe Top - H&M
Studded Tote - R&eM (would love these , but also loving this & this)
Conceited Flats - Bakers (get it here)
Cat Eye Sunnies - Mango

My awesome friend Cathy took some quick photos while on lunch today.  This is what I wore to work, very casual but with some pumps this outfit can be ready for happy hour! But I wanted to show you all my lovely and dangerous Conceited flats.  I fell in love when I first saw these flats online about two weeks ago.  Since, I have been trying to save money, emphasize TRYING..I wanted to make sure that I really wanted them and waited until yesterday to finally make that purchase! I have been doing this lately because my closet is filled and need to get rid of a bunch of stuff. It can be difficult, but what I've learned and REALLY need to go by, are some of these rules:

1. Would I wear it now?
2. Have I worn in the last 4 months?
3. Do I love it?
4. Do I have anything to wear it with?

If I can't answer to any of these four, then it means it's probably time to let it go, sell or donate it.

Behind The Beautiful Forevers

Outfit Details:
Cropped Jacket & Cardigan – Forever 21 (old)
Horse Sweater – H&M (super sale $5!)
Pants – Zara (last season)
Boots – Rampage (very old)
Watch – Michael Kors
Bracelet - Juicy Couture

Here I am in one of my favorite places in the East Bay is called Heather Farms, where they have this amazing garden area filled with bed of flowers.  A bunch of weddings happens in this serene vicinity throughout the year, and I don’t blame them.  It is the perfect spot for picture taking.  As you can see the gorgeous cherry blossom behind me is one of the reasons I come here and it has a huge playground for my mini me which she absolutely loves!

As for my very first horse sweater, I found him in the kid’s section of H&M, I knew it was a horse sweater from a glance band grabbed it right away without looking at the size or price, I was in a rush.  When I got home, I looked at my receipt and to my surprise I got this baby for only $5 bucks!  It fit perfectly and became my favorite sweater for the weekend, along with pumpkin colored pants from Zara.  My mini-me asked me why I didn’t get her one.  I would have since I love matching with her, but it was the last one.

I wish the path behind me led to the beautiful forevers!

Happy Hump Day!!

Just thought I’d share a few work outfits I have been wearing to work lately.  Our Monday to Friday work outfits doesn't always have to be all work and no play.  I love wearing colors and patterns to work, but I also try to wear clean and sharp pieces.

I also want to share a few lookbooks I found on different websites. Shopbop has a bunch of them but I really love the Ultimate Closet.  It has just about 10 items that can work be worn in so many ways.  I will need to do spring cleaning in my closet to make my ultimate work wardrobe.  Ann Taylor is another website I go to for work outfit inspirations.

This has been one of my longest post ever hope you enjoyed! Thanks for visiting & for all the sweet comments!

Be Bright, Be Bold

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
 – Helen Keller

Outfit Details:
Sweater & Pants - Zara (sweater click here)
Bag - Vintage Gucci
Watch - Michael Kors
Rings - Jewelmint
Bow Bracelet - Juicy Couture

I found this minty green sweater at Zara last week and totally love it!  I think I might buy the pinkish color too. The texture gives an outfit some dimension to it.  Well, I hope everyone is having a great week, although it's been raining and gloomy here in San Francisco this week I managed to get by, by wearing bright and/or bold colors! So ready for Spring!

Thank you to everyone that's been stopping by and commenting!

Plaid Day - October 7

Outfit Details:
Rust/Orange Pants and Belt - Zara
Plaid Blazer - Thrifted ($8!)
Bird Cardi & Bow Shirt - Forever 21

Last Friday was another sunny day in SF. There was a blog that I read and stated Oct. 7th to be plaid day.  So, this blazer was the only thing I can find close to plaid. Funny thing is, I did see some people wearing them. I'm not sure if they knew or if they just happened to wear them that day. Anyway, I love the color of these pants and so far my favorite! I wore them on the 1st Day of Autumn, and got so many compliments.  (Sorry forgot to take my badge off for the pictures..haha!)

Took a stroll down to Union Square. Had brunch with my lovely friend at Cafe Bellini. Decided to get a glass of mimosa and strawberry crepe. We sat outside and my friend said everyone that stopped and gazed at my plate went inside..haha! Who wouldn't?

Craving sweet? It doesn’t get any better than this!

Tuesdays in the Park

Outfit Details:
Cardigan – Target (last year)
White Tank – Old Navy ($6 Super Sale!)
Pencil Skirt – Zara ($10 Sale!)
T-Strap Heels – Franco Sarto ($40)

Such a wonderful day here in SF today! I woke up and knew it would be.  I saw the sunrise at 6am and it was already pretty warm.  Ahhh, it might just be the Indian weather we all been craving for here!
My coworker Cathy & I decided to walk near this little park near our work to relax and have some Baskin Robins.  I treated her to a Cappuccino Blast and she blamed me after for being so full!  I told her to start her fashion blog because she has an amazing collection of clothes from JCrew, Banana Republic, Free People, so on and so on. I even volunteered to be her photographer.  Will have to wait and see.  For now, her focus is on being creative with her writing and poetry, check her out here.

As far as my outfit for today, just another work outfit I know, sorry!  Thought I’d bring this lovely cardigan out since it has a nice color and pretty tropical. I really love how this Zara pencil skirt accentuate a woman's curve. Cathy bought one too!

<---My more than a leg shot! Don't you love her shoes?
